My Sensor is Offline. What Should I Do?¶
(Applies to Bluetooth LE Sensors and LoRa Sensors)
Part A: General Diagnostics¶
If you're on-site, we recommend checking these steps sequentially:
Check Hub status¶
→ Determine if sensor offline relates to Hub issues
Verify sensor battery¶
- Press setup button for 1s
- Check for brief blue LED flash
- Low battery? Use included adapter/cable to recharge or replace batteries
Reposition sensor¶
→ Check if distance from Hub causes disconnection
- Place Hub and sensor elevated in same space
- Avoid obstacles and signal interference
- Monitor real-time signal level:
H5 >>> Sensor App >>> Select sensor >>> Press encoder twice >>> View signal level
Software/hardware failure¶
If sensor remains offline when placed near Hub:
→ Contact us
→ Provide sensor SN/name for further support
Part B: Advanced Diagnostics¶
LW1 Sensor Advanced Troubleshooting Solutions
LW1 Sensor Offline Diagnostics¶
Button Operation: Single Press
Function: Test the communication status between the sensor and Hub (gateway).
No Beep¶
Symptom: LED flashes, but no beep sound.
Diagnosis 1: If the device has not completed setup, this status is normal. Please add the sensor in the App first.
Diagnosis 2: If the device is already set up, this indicates communication failure with the gateway. Please check the gateway status or distance.
No Light¶
Symptom: Indicator light does not turn on, and there is no beep sound.
Diagnosis: Power failure. Please check and try replacing the battery.
Normal Status¶
Symptom: Indicator light flashes and emits a beep sound.
Conclusion: The sensor is communicating normally with the gateway.
