Add and Deploy an H1B Hub
Add the H1B Hub through Ethernet or 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, place it for reliable ST/SW sensor coverage, and verify the deployment.
Before You Start
- Install and sign in to the MOCREO Sensor App.
- Prepare the supplied power adapter and external antenna.
- For Wi-Fi setup, use a 2.4 GHz network and enable Bluetooth on the phone.
- Keep the H1B close to the phone and router until setup is complete.
Add the H1B in the App
- Attach the antenna and connect the H1B to power.
- Open the MOCREO Sensor App, tap +, and select H1B.
- Choose Ethernet or Wi-Fi in the App.
- When prompted, press the Hub button for 5 seconds to enter Setup mode.
- For Ethernet, connect the Hub and phone to the same network and select the discovered Hub.
- For Wi-Fi, select the 2.4 GHz network and enter its password.
- Keep the App open until the H1B appears online.
Install and Deploy the Hub
- Place the H1B indoors in a dry, ventilated, open location.
- Keep it raised and as central as practical between the router and the sensor locations.
- Keep the antenna upright and away from large metal surfaces, appliances, and enclosed cabinets.
- Use a stable power outlet and secure the Ethernet cable when Ethernet is used.
- Wait for the H1B to return online after moving it to the final location.
Verify the Deployment
- The H1B card shows online in the App.
- The status light indicates normal operation.
- The H1B remains online at its final location.
- A nearby compatible ST/SW sensor can be added and reports a current reading.
