Add and Deploy an H2 Hub
Add the H2 Hub over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, choose an outlet for reliable ST/SW sensor coverage, and verify the deployment.
Before You Start
- Install and sign in to the MOCREO Sensor App.
- Use a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network with Internet access.
- Enable Bluetooth and grant the permissions requested by the App.
- Keep the phone, H2, and router close together during setup.
Add the H2 in the App
- Plug the H2 into a powered wall outlet.
- Open the MOCREO Sensor App, tap +, and select H2.
- Follow the in-app prompt to put the H2 into Setup mode.
- Select the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and enter its password.
- Keep the App open until the H2 appears online.
Install and Deploy the Hub
- Choose an indoor outlet in a dry, open location.
- Place the H2 as central as practical between the Wi-Fi router and the sensor locations.
- Avoid outlets behind large appliances, inside cabinets, or next to large metal surfaces.
- Keep the H2 away from water, excessive heat, and areas where it can be unplugged accidentally.
- If you move it after setup, wait for it to reconnect before installing sensors.
Verify the Deployment
- The H2 card shows online in the App.
- The H2 remains online at its final outlet.
- A nearby compatible ST/SW sensor can be added and reports a current reading.
