Connect the Hub with Ethernet
Use an Ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi for the H1B Hub, and power it over Ethernet with a PoE splitter.
Can the Hub use an Ethernet jack instead of Wi-Fi?
Yes. Ethernet is an alternative way to connect the H1B Hub to a network instead of using Wi-Fi.
Make sure the network your phone is connected to is in the same LAN as the network the Hub will connect to. Then plug in the Ethernet cable and follow the steps in the App to set up the Hub. If the connection fails, contact us.
Can the Hub be powered with PoE over the Ethernet cable?
Not directly. The Hub has no onboard PoE, but a number of customers have used a PoE splitter for this. Here is a data sheet for a PoE splitter that a customer used successfully.

How do Hubs and Sensors work together in the MOCREO Sensor System?
Sensors communicate over Bluetooth LE or Zigbee and rely on a Hub for Wi-Fi and cloud access; they cannot join Wi-Fi directly.
