Send Asset Events to a Webhook

Contact Support

Path: Sidebar → Integrations → Webhooks → Create webhook

A webhook sends events from the selected asset to your own HTTPS endpoint as POST requests.

Create a Webhook

Path: Sidebar → Integrations → Webhooks → Create webhook

  1. Enter a Name (up to 120 characters) and an optional Description (up to 500 characters).
  2. Enter the Destination URL. It must start with https:// and be reachable from the internet. Localhost and private network addresses are rejected.
  3. Adjust delivery settings if needed:
    • Timeout (ms): 1000–30000, default 5000.
    • Max retries: 1–5, default 5.
    • Signing secret reference: optional.
  4. Select one or more Event types. Each option has a short description; examples include device online status changes, rule (automation) triggered or recovered, and temperature, humidity, door, or water-leak reports.
  5. Optional: under Devices, select the devices to include. Leave it empty to receive events from every device in the asset.
  6. Set Status to Active to start delivering, or Paused to save without delivering.
  7. Click Create webhook.

Check Deliveries

Path: Sidebar → Integrations → Webhooks → webhook in the list

  • Delivery stats shows total, successful, failed, and retried deliveries, success rate, average duration, consecutive failures, and the last failure reason.
  • Deliveries lists each attempt with time, event type, result, HTTP status code, attempt number, duration, and failure reason. Filter by From / To, Event type, Success, and Retry, or change the sort order. Click Reset filters to clear them.

The Portal has no test-send or manual redelivery button. To test, subscribe to a frequent event type and watch Deliveries.

Pause, Edit, or Delete a Webhook

Path: Sidebar → Integrations → Webhooks → webhook in the list → Edit (or Delete)

  • To pause delivery, click Edit, set Status to Paused, and click Save changes.
  • Delete asks for confirmation and permanently removes the webhook.
