Troubleshooting steps
- ST5/ST6/ST9/ST10/SW2: Open the rubber charging-port cap and use the supplied adapter and cable. The red indicator stays on while charging and turns off when charging is complete. Disconnect the cable and close the cap.
- SD1: Connect it to a 5 V / 1 A power source with a USB-C cable. Allow it to charge, then confirm that it powers on and appears normally in the Smart App.
- MS1/MS2/MS3/LS1/LS2/LS3/LW1/LD1: Remove the battery cover and replace all AAA batteries with new batteries of the approved type. Do not mix old and new batteries or different brands. For LS1 in cold storage, use batteries rated for low temperatures.
- ST8: Remove the battery cover and replace the 9 V 6LR61 battery.
- Value still low: Put the Sensor next to its Hub and short-press Setup for about 1 second. On the Hub's right screen, open Sensor > select the Sensor > press the knob twice and check the real-time battery value, then check the Smart App. If a replaceable-battery model still shows the old value, remove its batteries for 1-2 minutes, reinstall them, and check again.
Do not keep a rechargeable Sensor deeply discharged or charging after it is full. If the value stays low after the correct power action, provide the model, SN, battery state, deployment temperature, and Hub/App result to support.
LW1 battery replacement video
To replace the LW1 batteries, carefully use a needle to lift the four white soft pads at the corners and expose the battery-cover screws. Remove the screws with a small screwdriver, open the Sensor battery cover, and replace the AAA batteries.
