Connect the Hub to a Hidden Wi-Fi Network
MOCREO Hubs cannot join a hidden SSID directly; temporarily unhide the network or set the Wi-Fi through the Hub Web Portal.
MOCREO Hubs cannot connect directly to a hidden Wi-Fi SSID. Use one of the two workarounds below.
Workaround 1: Unhide the network temporarily
- Temporarily make the SSID of the access point visible.
- Add the Hub to your MOCREO account through the MOCREO Sensor App or the Web Portal.
- After the Hub is added, you can hide the Wi-Fi network again.
Workaround 2: Set the Wi-Fi in the Hub Web Portal
- Find the Hub IP address in the MOCREO Sensor App under Menu → Hubs → select the Hub → Hub Settings.
- Log in to the Hub Web Portal (default user name
admin, passwordpassword). - Open Admin Settings → Setup → Wi-Fi and enter the hidden Wi-Fi SSID and password. The Hub then connects to that network.
