Probe disconnected
If the App indicates that my Sensor probe is disconnected, what should I do?
Sensors equipped with external probes
Please first follow the path below to check the Sensor firmware version:
Path: App >>> Sensor Settings >>> More Device Information >>> Firmware Version
- Firmware Version ≥ 3
Please verify whether the current Sensor probe is already inserted into the Sensor body. If the external temperature probe is indeed connected to the Sensor body, it is possible that the issue arises from the probe not being firmly secured, resulting in a loose connection.
- Firmware Version < 3
If the external temperature probe of the current Sensor is already inserted into the Sensor body, it is possible that static electricity during insertion has caused a short circuit.
For this issue, the solution is as follows:
A. You can first try to remove the external temperature probe of the Sensor, wipe it with a damp paper towel and then a dry one (to eliminate static electricity), and reinsert it firmly. Wait for about 30 seconds and observe whether the monitoring data is reported normally.
B. If the issue is not resolved, and since your current account has other ST5 Sensors added and another ST5 Sensor is currently functioning properly, you can attempt the following steps:
a. Remove the external temperature probes from both ST5 Sensors.
b. Wipe them with a damp paper towel and then a dry one (to eliminate static electricity), and then swap and insert them into the other Sensor body.
c. Wait for about 30 seconds and observe whether both Sensors can report data normally.
