SW2's addition and installation deployment.

  • Here, you can find guidance on the addition and installation deployment of SW2. Before reading the following article, please ensure that you have completed the H5-Lite setup process.

What should I prepare?

  1. Sensor: First, insert the external temperature probe into the main body of the Sensor.

  2. Pin: When adding, you need to use a pin to poke the pinhole under the soft rubber cover of the 1s Sensor to put it into setup mode.

  3. Power cord: If, upon completing the Sensor addition process, you find that the Sensor's current battery level is suboptimal (below 50%) when entering the Sensor configuration page, we recommend using the provided power adapter and power cord to charge the Sensor.

During the charging process, the Sensor's red indicator light will remain steadily lit and will automatically turn off once the Sensor's battery is nearly fully charged. You can use this change to determine whether the Sensor is ready to conclude the charging operation.

How to set it up?

Before actual deployment, we recommend prioritizing the SW2 Sensor Setup process, which involves adding the sensor via the MOCREO Smart App.

Add SW2 Sensor

Please place your SW2 Sensor near the H5-Lite and your smartphone to ensure that during the sensor setup process, the sensor can be successfully scanned by both the H5-Lite and your smartphone's Bluetooth.

You just need to follow the prompts in the app to complete the SW2 Sensor setup process smoothly.

How to mount it?

SW2 water leak sensor is widely applicable in both residential and commercial settings, anywhere the prevention of water leakage and damage is essential.

The following are some considerations for deploying the SW2 Sensor in different environments:

  1. Special environments：External sensors with stainless steel probes and PVC cable are both corrosion-resistant materials. However, there is still a risk of corrosion and aging when exposed for long periods to harmful chemicals, saltwater, grease, humidity, or high temperatures.

Test the Effectve Distance

Place the paired SW2 Sensor in the location you want to monitor. The suggested distance between the H5-Lite and the Sensor is 67 ft - 82 ft (Household environment).

Poke the Sensor pinhole for 1s and release. Go to the H5-Lite LCD display area to view the current actual signal level of the sensor.

Note: lf the current signal level of the sensor is weak, we recommend you to read just the deployment position of the sensor.
