Hub sensor limits

How many sensors can one Hub support?

Bluetooth LE sensors
- Up to 30 BLE sensors per Hub in lab conditions.
- Real-world layouts (walls, interference, distance) may reduce that number.
- Walk a single sensor through every planned monitoring spot; if readings stay stable, you can keep using the same Hub. Add another Hub only when stability drops.

LoRa sensors
- Hardware can technically pair with 100 LoRa sensors, but we observed severe process congestion near that limit (slow button responses, delayed data).
- For consistent performance, keep one Hub to roughly 30 LoRa sensors.
- Field tests trump theory—deploy sensors gradually and watch for dropouts. Expand coverage with an extra Hub wherever signals become unreliable.
