My Sensor Battery is Too Low—What Should I Do?

First, identify your sensor model to determine the appropriate solution.

1. ST5 / ST6 / ST9 / ST10 / SW2 Sensors

Battery Type: Rechargeable lithium battery

Solution: 1. After receiving a low-battery alert from MOCREO, open the rubber cap on the sensor housing 2. Charge the sensor using the supplied power adapter and cable 3. The red LED indicator will stay on during charging and turn off when fully charged 4. After charging, if the battery level doesn't update immediately: - Place the sensor next to the Hub - Press the pinhole button for 1 second - Check the MOCREO app to verify the battery level has updated

⚠️ Important Warning: Leaving the sensor at low battery levels for extended periods (battery over-discharge) can cause the battery to swell, which is extremely dangerous. Charge your sensor promptly.

2. MS1 / LS1 / LS2 / LS3 / SW3 / LW1 Sensors

Battery Type: 3×AAA batteries

Solution: 1. After receiving a low-battery alert from MOCREO, remove the sensor's battery cover 2. Replace with new AAA batteries 3. Reassemble the sensor

Note for LS1 Sensors: If your LS1 sensor is deployed in a cold environment, ensure the replacement batteries are rated for low-temperature operation.

3. ST8 Sensors

Battery Type: 9V 6LR61 battery

Solution: 1. After receiving a low-battery alert from MOCREO, remove the sensor's battery cover 2. Replace with a new 9V 6LR61 battery 3. Reassemble the sensor
