Rename a Device

Path: Home → Device card → Settings (⚙) → More Device Information → Name

The page that opens from More Device Information is titled Information.

Enter a name of up to 20 characters, then tap Confirm.

Remove a Device

• Sensor path: Home → Sensor card → Settings (⚙) → Remove Device
• Hub path: Home → Hub card → Settings (⚙) → Remove Device

Tap Remove Device, review the warning, and tap Confirm.

Settings is the gear icon at the top right of the device detail page. The page it opens is titled Sensor Settings or Hub Settings, depending on the device.

Removing a device does not fix an offline issue or factory-reset the device. These actions require Admin permission.

Move a Device to Another Home

Path: Home → Device card → Settings (⚙) → More Device Information → Home

Select the target Home, then tap Move. The list shows the Homes you created or joined. Move each device separately.

You must be an Admin of both the current Home and the target Home. Otherwise the App shows You don't have permission to move this device to this home. To get Admin access to another user's Home, ask its creator to invite you as an Admin. See How to Share Devices with Others.

Move the Hub and Its Sensors Together

Bluetooth LE and LoRa Sensors are relayed only by a Hub in the same Home. When you move a Hub, also move the Sensors it covers, unless another online Hub in the old Home still covers them. Otherwise those Sensors stop uploading data. See How do Hubs and Sensors work together.

What Changes After a Move

• The device name returns to its default name, and the Room assignment is cleared.
• Alarm rules for the device are deleted from the old Home. Set them again in the new Home.
• Scheduled exports for the device are deleted.
• Temperature and humidity compensation returns to 0.
• The device shows offline until it reconnects. A Hub comes back online with its next heartbeat. A Bluetooth LE or LoRa Sensor comes back online when a Hub in the new Home relays it.
