ST3 App Addition and Deployment Guide
Bind the ST3 Zigbee temperature and humidity sensor to an H1B Hub, then install and verify it.
Zigbee binding
ST3 requires an online H1B Hub. It does not use the Bluetooth scanning flow used by ST5, ST6, ST9, ST10, SW2, MS1, or MS2.
Before You Start
- Add the H1B Hub and confirm that it is online.
- Keep the ST3 close to the H1B during binding.
- Prepare a paper clip or SIM tool for the sensor pinhole.
If the ST3 was supplied in a kit, its card may already appear in the App. Press the pinhole once and wait 5-10 seconds for an update before binding it again.
Bind ST3 to the H1B
- Press the ST3 pinhole once and check the status light.
- If the light blinks once and stops, hold the pinhole for about 6 seconds until the light flashes rapidly.
- In the MOCREO Sensor App, tap +, choose Sensor, select Climate Sensor - ST3, and select the online H1B.
- When the H1B beeps and opens its binding window, follow the App prompt while the ST3 light is flashing rapidly.
- Keep the ST3 beside the H1B until its card appears and reports a current reading.
Install and Verify ST3
- Place the ST3 where air can circulate around it.
- Avoid direct sunlight, heating or cooling vents, condensation, and large metal surfaces.
- At the final location, press the pinhole once and confirm that the card updates within 5-10 seconds.
- Confirm the sensor remains online, then configure temperature and humidity alerts.
