ST7 Local Addition and Deployment Guide
Add the ST7 directly to a nearby phone over Bluetooth, then install its probe for local monitoring.
Local Bluetooth monitoring
ST7 connects directly to the phone and does not use an H1B or H2 Hub. Keep a phone running the MOCREO Sensor App within Bluetooth range for live updates.
Add ST7 in the App
- Enable Bluetooth on the phone and grant the permissions requested by the App.
- Move the ST7 power switch to ON. The sensor beeps when it powers on.
- In the MOCREO Sensor App, tap +, choose Temperature & Humidity Sensor, and select Temp Sensor - ST7.
- Keep the phone close until the ST7 card appears and reports a current temperature.
Install and Verify ST7
- Secure the external probe at the measurement point and keep the ST7 body dry and accessible.
- Keep the ST7 within about 30 ft (9 m) of the phone used for monitoring; walls and metal can reduce this range.
- Confirm that the temperature updates from the phone's normal position, then configure the local threshold and buzzer.
