ST8 Local Addition and Deployment Guide
Add the ST8 directly to a nearby phone over Bluetooth, then install its probe and verify local data synchronization.
Local Bluetooth data
ST8 connects directly to the phone and does not use an H1B or H2 Hub. Keep the phone nearby when viewing or synchronizing stored data.
Add ST8 in the App
- Enable Bluetooth on the phone and grant the permissions requested by the App.
- Move the ST8 alarm switch to ON.
- Move the main alarm switch to OFF for at least 3 seconds, then move it back to ON.
- In the MOCREO Sensor App, tap +, choose Temperature & Humidity Sensor, and select Temp Sensor - ST8.
- Keep the phone close until the ST8 card appears and reports a current temperature.
Install and Verify ST8
- Secure the external probe at the measurement point and keep the ST8 body dry and accessible.
- Route the probe cable without sharp bends, crushing, tension, or pinching in a door seal.
- Set the logging interval, wait for new records, and confirm that stored data synchronizes to the App.
