Other circumstances
- ST5 Sensor firmware < v3.0
If the external temperature probe of the sensor has been inserted into the sensor body but remains disconnected, this might be due to static electricity causing a short circuit when the probe is inserted
You might try removing the external temperature probe from the sensor, wiping it with a damp cloth followed by a dry one to eliminate static electricity, and then reinserting it securely. Wait for approximately 30 seconds to see if the monitoring data reports correctly
