ST8 App Addition Guide
Decide whether the ST8 will be used directly with the phone or through a Hub.
Before You Start
- ST8 sensor with a 9 V 6LR61 battery installed
- A phone with the MOCREO Smart App installed and Bluetooth enabled
- For Hub use, a compatible Smart System Hub already online in the App
Decide whether the ST8 will be used directly with the phone or through a Hub.
Add ST8 in the MOCREO Smart App

Turn the ST8 side switch to ON, then place the ST8 next to the phone. For Hub use, also keep it near the online Hub.

Open the MOCREO Smart App. A MOCREO account is not required for this addition.

On Home, tap + to open Add Devices, then select ST8 under Temperature & Humidity Sensor and follow the legacy Bluetooth scan page. ST8 does not use automatic Bluetooth discovery.
Keep the side switch set to ON while the App scans for the ST8.
Confirm the Device Was Added
Confirm that the ST8 appears in the App and reports a current temperature reading through the selected connection mode.
