SD1 Setup and Installation

Before adding the Sensor, set up a compatible Smart System Hub at the same location. Compatible Hubs: H3, H5-LITE, H5-PRO, H6-LITE, and H6-PRO.

What Should I Prepare?

The SD1 package includes:

  • SD1 Sensor
  • Temperature & Humidity Probe (green plug)
  • Temperature Probe (blue plug)
  • Door Sensor Probe (yellow plug)
  • Door Sensor Magnet
  • Magnetic Plate
  • Three Cable Clips
  • Cable Organizer

The SD1 has a rechargeable 3.7 V, 2000 mAh lithium battery. If charging is needed before setup, use a USB-C 5 V / 1 A power source.

Add the SD1 Sensor

  1. Download and open the MOCREO Smart App.
  2. Remove the rear cover from the SD1.
  3. Connect all three probes by matching each color-coded plug to the socket of the same color: green on the left, blue in the middle, and yellow on the right when viewed from the rear.
  4. Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to power on the SD1. The screen will turn on.
  5. In the App, tap +, select SD1 Sensor, and follow the prompts.

If the Sensor is not discovered, press and hold the button for 3-10 seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The blue LED flashes once per second for about 3 minutes while pairing mode is active.

Select a Monitoring Scenario

In the MOCREO Smart App, select the scenario that matches the deployment:

  • Low Temperature Mode for refrigerator and freezer monitoring
  • Room Temperature Mode for ambient temperature monitoring

Each scenario includes preset alarm settings. Review the thresholds before relying on the Sensor for monitoring.

Mount the SD1 and Probes

  1. Attach the magnetic plate to a suitable metal surface on the refrigerator or freezer, then place the SD1 on the plate.
  2. Place the green Temperature & Humidity Probe in the refrigerator area.
  3. Place the blue Temperature Probe in the freezer area.
  4. Attach the yellow Door Sensor Probe to the fixed refrigerator frame or body near the door edge.
  5. Attach the Door Sensor Magnet to the moving door, directly opposite the yellow probe.
  6. Use the supplied cable clips and organizer to secure the probe cables.

When the door is closed, the magnet should align closely with the Door Sensor Probe. When the door opens, the magnet moves away and the SD1 reports the door as open.

Test the Installation

  1. Press the button once to turn on the backlight.
  2. While the backlight is on, press the button once again to run a test. The blue LED should flash once.
  3. Confirm that the refrigerator temperature and humidity, freezer temperature, and door status appear correctly on the LCD and in the App.
  4. Open and close the monitored door to verify the status changes correctly.

To restore factory settings, press and hold the button for more than 10 seconds. The red LED flashes rapidly, and then the SD1 restarts.
